Hi, I'm Tish Woods, founder of Your Learning Corner. For more than 30 years, I've had the privilege of working alongside students and families from many different educational backgrounds.

Most sessions are 55 minutes. For best results, we recommend 1–5 sessions per week depending on your child’s needs, goals, and grade level.
How do I track my child’s progress?
We provide weekly communication and updates after sessions. You’ll know exactly what your child is learning, how they performed, and what we will focus on next. I also share data and growth checkpoints throughout the program.
What if my child misses a session?
We offer make-up sessions when available. Cancellations must be made in advance (24 hours). Last-minute cancellations may be charged.
Do you give homework or extra practice?
Yes. We can provide extra practice when beneficial, but we also support school homework and projects. Homework is always personalized and manageable.
Are sessions one-on-one or group?
Yes sessions are one-on-one unless specifically requested or recommended. Some students thrive while learning with others. If we think its better for your child to learn in a group setting (up to 3 kids) we will suggest group sessions. This ensures your child receives fully individualized support and instruction.
How much does it cost, and how do payments work?
Tutoring sessions are billed at your specialized rate. Rates can range from $40.00 - $120.00 a session depending on your child's needs.
ESA is accepted currently for Arizona.
Payments can be made bi-weekly or monthly depending on your preference. A 5% Discount is available for families booking multiple weekly sessions and a 10% family discount if you have more than one child enrolled. *Families can qualify for both discounts if each child within the family books more than one session a week.
How fast will I see results?
Most students show noticeable improvement within 4–6 weeks of consistent attendance. Some students improve even faster depending on their starting point and effort.

Your child will work with highly qualified and experienced tutors from Your Learning Corner. Our team includes certified educators and skilled tutors who specialize in personalized instruction, academic growth, and supporting diverse learning needs. Each tutor is trained to follow our curriculum standards, teaching methods, and communication practices—ensuring every student receives consistent, high-quality support.
How do online sessions work?
Online sessions take place through a secure video platform. Your child and I can see each other, share screens, use digital whiteboards, and work through lessons together in real time. All materials are provided digitally, and students can join from any device with an internet connection.
What technology or equipment do we need?
All you need is:
-A laptop, computer or tablet
-Reliable internet connection
-A quiet space to work
-Optional: headphones for better focus
No special software is required. I will send a link to join each session.
